VERY Long Day

This morning, I didn't eat my normal breakfast at home. I had an early work meeting and my boss came in with coffee and donuts. As you've seen in previous posts, I can't turn down a donut (or 2). I had 2 cups of coffee and 2 donuts this morning. I know, I'm a pig. You can tell I must be running a lot, if I can eat like this and not gain weight. I'm probably jenksing myself now. I'll gain 30 pounds this month.

I didn't have any snacks, because I was so full, and on such a sugar high, from the donuts. I had my normal lunch with that great creamy mustard. I love it!! Before I went to the gym, I finished off the last 1/3 of a Power Bar. It was still yummy!!

Since I went into work so early, I was able to get off of work earlier. Since I was already on the treadmill, I managed to run 4 1/2 miles. My furthest run, yet. It felt really good. My legs feel good and I'm happy with my run. I was fully into it. There wasn't anyone talking on their phone or anything. Afterwards, I went straight to my 55 minute spin class. I was also a great workout. We had a sub today, but she was alright. I managed to drip some sweat on the floor!! After spin, I used the restroom (that was needed after drinking over 2 pints of water in about 1 1/2 hours) and headed straight to yoga. The step class was just finishing up, so I was able to watch that class for a little bit. I do not have any coordination, I don't think I could do that class without falling flat on my face.

My yoga class was ok. I kept thinking about my crappy weekend, and was getting annoyed by that loud breather. Other than that, I was a great stretch and cool down. I went straight home and fixed dinner. My boss also brought in a TON of tomatoes, squash and pluots. YUM!!

Tonight's dinner was leftover cooked chicken (shredded), leftover brown rice, 2 medium sized tomatoes, lots of cherry tomatoes and 1 small yellow squash. I heated the chicken and rice while I cut up the rest. Then, I mixed everything together. I was so good. I can't wait for leftovers tomorrow!

Up close and personal....

I polished my dinner off with Purity strawberry paradise juice. WOW!! It was so good! I only drank 1/2 the bottle (because of the calories). I wanted to finish it off, but I ate so crappy this weekend and this morning.
Look at all the yummy-ness. It's a little high in sugar, but it's the good sugar. No high fructose corn syrup crap.

Dessert was one of my favorite Greek yogurts. I had honey-strawberry Greek Gods yogurt. WOW!! Such a great taste!

The calories are EXTREMELY high, but so worth it. I only had 1/4 cup of the yogurt (about 100 calories or so). It was so thick and creamy. I could smell all the great flavors right when I opened the container. I have already packed some up for my afternoon snack tomorrow. I can't wait!

To answer questions: my friend made the cheesy hash browns, She said it was a Paula Deen recipe. You could probably find it on Food Network or something. I can't even think about looking it up, or I will make it (and finish it) every weekend! It was great. You should make it, and post it on your blog, so I can see how liked it.

What brand is your favorite Greek yogurt?

****Just FYI: I am not paid by any of these companies. These are my honest opinions. I would never lie about what I think about something. I will ALWAYS tell the truth. ****

  2. I cannot turn down a donut either. I have been known to tell my hubby, "Don't buy me flowers. Just pick up a dozen donuts!"
