Tops Off to the 12 Miles

My 12 mile run went well!! On my lunch break, I briefly read through the new RW and it got me wanting to run...right then. When I was finally able to get on the tm, I felt like I was flying. Everything felt great! I was so happy to be there. And, that's how it went through the entire 12 miles. Every single second was wonderful. I enjoyed every minute on that stupid tm. I am getting so close to the race. I can't stop thinking about it. I dream about toeing the line and winning the race (I said I was dreaming). I. Love. Running.
Well, hubs is making some Italian food (from Giada De Laurentiis's cook book) for dinner. I will go keep him company. He prefers to make things off the top of his head, not from a recipe. I'll talk about the recipe tomorrow. Have a great night!

Do you ever cook from a cookbook or from your head?

  2. Good luck with the race. Sounds like you are so ready.

Cook Book - Get ideas from it, but change it up to accommodate my taste.

  3. My husband and I are complete opposites with our cooking styles...he makes things up as he goes, and I love to follow recipes to the letter...

  4. I like to look at Runners World or read you guys' blogs before I run. It has a motivating effect! Congrats on your 12 miles! Amazing!

  5. Most of the time, I read a recipe and alter as I see fit, so it's somewhere inbetween.

  6. I love to make chili by just adding what I feel like adding. It always turns out well.
