Laziness Took Over

I left work early yesterday to meet the carpet cleaners at our place. Of course, they told me they'd be here between 12-4. Right when I walked through that door, I started baking. I didn't know how much time I had. I made these muffins (which I haven't tried, yet). They look and smell really good, though.

For me, when it comes to chocolate, it has to be cool. It was warm here yesterday and we had the windows open all day to let our carpets dry. So this means, no muffins, yet.

The carpet guys finally showed up at 3:45 (of course). Now, we have super clean carpets. I love clean carpets!

After they left, I started to get hungry and Jason was on his way home form work. So, it was pizza making time. I bought the dough from my grocery store and topped it with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, colby jack cheese, onions, garlic salt, pepperoni and olives. It was pretty good, except it really stuck to the pan. I've never had a pizza stick to the pan so badly. This is a different brand of dough than I normally buy, so that may have been it. Next time, I'll lay parchment paper down, first.

I don't think my long run is going to happen this weekend. My body really needs its rest. I am so tired and cranky (from getting use to the early workout schedule). Starting Monday, (it's always a good time to start), I will go to the gym at 4:30 am m-th (haven't decided if I'll keep fri as a day of rest or workout yet) and try to go to sleep a little earlier (around 10).

If you workout in the morning, what time do you get up and what time do you go to sleep?

  1. The carpet looks great and so does the pizza!!

If I run in the morning, I am up between 4 and 5 and go to bed between 8:30 and 9:30 - as early as possible!

  2. That's an early morning workout, wow! If I workout super early, it's about 5:30. So I wake up at 5 to eat first. But if I do that I'm in bed by 9:30! I really need my sleep!

  3. I usually am in bed my 9 and up at 4:45, I try to be out the door running by 5:15, but this is only when it is going to be a hot day like 70 or warmer. Otherwise I just go when I can find someone to watch the kids.
