I went to the gym for the first time since the injury occurred. It was very depressing not being able to run on the treadmill. I know, you never thought you would hear that. Very surprising! I worked my arms for 45 minutes straight. They feel like string cheese.
On my drive home, I was behind a car that had a bumper sticker that read "13.1". Very depressing...I can't wait to get better! I have my 5k on Saturday. I'm going to Run with Santa Saturday.
At least I was able to look cute while working my arms...

ReplyDeleteI know that it sucks to see other people running and not be able to....Usually, I put on some sweats and ride the stationary bike like something is after me. Getting up a good sweat makes me feel like I accomplished something.
